TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICE

Trash and recycling pickup is provided by Waste Connections and the fee for these services is included in the monthly HOA assessment. If you need to request a new trash can or recycling bin please contact us via email at coventryvillagefl@gmail.com.


TRASH PICKUP ON TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS

RECYCLING PICKUP ON WEDNESDAYS


** No pickup on Christmas or New Year’s Day.


** Trash cans and recycling bins should be placed on the curb no earlier than the evening before a scheduled pick-up day and empty cans and bins should be brought in no later than the evening of the scheduled pick-up day.


** Trash cans and recycling bins must be stored “out of street view” in accordance with the community’s by-laws.


** Remember to bag grass clippings and leaves. Cut tree branches and palm fronds into 4 ft. lengths and bundle with string or tape.


** Call Waste Connections at 727-572-6800 to arrange for the pick up of bulk items like old furniture and appliances. There is a separate fee for these items and it is the responsibility of the homeowner.


** The dumping of any trash (including yard debris) in the common areas or retention ponds is strictly prohibited. Violators maybe fined.


MAILBOXES

Mailboxes are installed and maintained by the HOA. If you experience a problem with your mailbox or if it is damaged please contact us via email at coventryvillagefl@gmail.com. Whenever possible the party responsible for any damages will be held responsible for reimbursing the HOA for the cost of repairs or replacement.


While the HOA is responsible for repairing any damage to the mailboxes, each homeowner is responsible for keeping their box clean. Please use warm soapy water (no chemicals or abrasives) to remove dirt, bird droppings, tree sap, etc. as needed. This will help to preserve the paint finish and extend the lifespan of the mailbox.

YARD OF THE MONTH

The Yard of the Month award recognizes homeowners who have done an outstanding job improving or maintaining their property’s appearance. The prize is currently being awarded by the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. If you would like to nominate a home for an upcoming award, please send an email to coventryvillagefl@gmail.com, include the property’s street address and a recent photo. Homes are eligible to win only once in any 12-month period and photos of current and past winners are displayed in the photo gallery.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS CONTEST


Each December the Association hosts a Holiday Lights Contest. Everyone is encouraged to get into the holiday spirit and put up their best holiday lights display. Judging takes place one evening in December, usually between the 15th and the 20th, with the exact date and time being posted in advance on the Events page. The Board of Directors, assisted by the previous year’s Grand Prize Winner, select one Grand Prize Winner and one runner-up Winner. Photos of the winners along with several Honorable Mentions are displayed in the photo gallery.


*Board Members and last year’s Grand Prize Winner are not eligible to win.
